What changes have been made to Rooster PLUS?

We are reducing the monthly cost of Rooster PLUS to 99p. Additionally, as of 1st July 2022 Rooster PLUS will only be available on a monthly subscription, and customers can no longer choose to subscribe or renew on the annual subscription option.

I’ve already paid for my annual subscription, what happens to my account?

Your subscription will continue as normal for the rest of your subscription period, however it will no longer auto-renew but expire at the end of its term. After this, you will be able to log into your account to renew your subscription by selecting the new 99p per month plan.

Can I switch to monthly payments if I’m already on Annual?

You won’t be switched to your monthly subscription until the end of your current annual plan.

If you are an iOS user and paid for your subscription via Apple in app purchase, you can change your annual subscription to monthly by following these steps:

  1. On your iOS device go to ‘Settings’

  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen where it states ‘Apple ID, iCloud, Media & Purchases’ in smaller text underneath

  3. Tap on ‘Subscriptions’

  4. Tap on the ‘NatWest Rooster Money’ app where you’ll be taken to an ‘Edit Subscription’ screen

  5. You will see ‘Extra PLUS features (1 month)’ listed as a subscription option

  6. Select that and follow the steps to switch your subscription to monthly

If you are an Android user, you will be able to subscribe to the monthly plan after your annual plan expires. Once your annual plan has ended, you will see the option to subscribe to monthly PLUS under ‘Menu’ and ‘Unlock PLUS features’.

I don’t want to renew my subscription, how do I cancel?

We’ll be sorry to see you go, please reach out to us if there’s anything we can do to make the app more useful for your family.

If you decide to go ahead and cancel, then you can do this directly in-app::

  1. Tap Menu in the top right corner of the family dashboard

  2. Tap Manage Account

  3. Tap Manage Subscriptions

  4. Here you can view/cancel your subscription

If you took out your subscription via Apple iTunes you can also cancel your subscription by following the steps below:

  1. Open the Settings on your iPhone or iPad

  2. Tap on your name at the top of the screen

  3. From here, select 'Subscriptions'

  4. Select 'Rooster Money' and cancel your subscription
