Why is there an alert showing in the app?

When something needs to be actioned in the app, an alert will show either as a dot or an exclamation mark.

A quick overview of why an alert is showing is below:

! alert on Chores

  • A chore needs to be actioned (approve/skip/mark not done) for the current period

OR

  • A past allowance period needs to be actioned (approve chores and/or confirm the amount you’d like your child to receive)

    • Note: this will also show on the blue calendar date button if you tap on the “Chores” button

  • A goal needs to be approved

  • A donation needs to be approved

Green dot alert on Explore

  • When we’ve posted a new resource a green dot alert will appear on Explore at the bottom of the family dashboard
